An in-depth discovery process allowed us to understand San Francisco Ballet’s role as a founding voice in American ballet. We included leadership, dancers and board members in creative presentations that allowed for the best concepts to rise to the surface.
We explored how a new visual identity could convey the distinct quality and caliber of their work. A complete visual identity system and robust brand guidelines enable campaigns and communications to be powerful and consistent.
The brand launch to the general public featured emotive, motion-filled images created with photographer Kristian Schuller.
Imagery was created using a combination of in-camera and digital artistry to achieve an energetic and abstracted, yet dreamlike effect.
Advertising and fundraising campaigns focused on the new brand identity and helped garner attention from new audiences.
The website design provides a centrepiece for the brand and campaigns, and is a hardworking instrument for ticket sales and outreach into the community.
