Prototypes is a design exhibition that dives deep into the role prototyping plays on developing a concept.

As an original exhibition format produced by Burnkit, the event followed five preeminent Vancouver-based designers – uncovering the experiments, thinking, chaos and process involved in bringing their ideas to (real) life. Our team produced a host of materials for the event, including printed pieces, a limited-edition newsprint catalog, exhibition graphics/hoarding, interactive iPad kiosks, mobile website and online exhibition experience.

As the first event of its kind in North America, we were pleased to showcase and celebrate local design in a way that has never been done before.
